I loved Mary. She was quite an inspirational woman. It was kind of her to let all of my 4 children celebrate holidays Carter style in her lovely home. My posthumous apologies for that! Love, Bridget and family

You were one of my favorite teachers. I remember going to your house for lunch with my friend Sally Fox. I think she used to baby sit for your children. So many memories of your sweet smile.

Mrs. Smith was one of my most beloved teachers. Her enthusiasm for education, her innovation as an educator and her connection to her students, combined to create a learning environment in which we thrived.
I remember corresponding with her while I was away at sleep away camp, and her funny observations about so many things. Her smile couldn't be beat and I've never forgotten my year as her student. My sincere condolences to your family on this sad loss. I pray there is much comfort in knowing what a tremendous impact she made on her students, and therefore, the world. Though I haven't seen or spoken to her in decades, I will miss her. She was a gem.
