Visiting Hours:  Thursday, June 30th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville funeral home.

Funeral Mass:  Friday, July 1st, 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville.

Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.

Robert H. Hoek, 82, a lifelong resident of the West Sayville area, died on Monday, June 27, 2016.  Mr. Hoek was a member of the West Sayville Volunteer Fire Department for nearly 70 years, an active member and usher at St. Lawrence RC Church and was recently a resident and board member at the Windmill Gate Community in Oakdale.  Mr. Hoek was a longtime baymen and worked for more than 30 years as a Property Manager for Racanelli Realty.

Mr. Hoek is survived by his wife Carmela, his four children, Laura Grosse and her husband Wayne of Bayport, Trisha Porcelli and her husband Tony of Shirley, Rob Hoek and his wife Kim of Bayport and Dianne Murphy and her husband Matt of East Patchogue,  his nine grandchildren, Jonathan and his wife Mary Kate, Erich, Tyler, Michael, Christopher, Rebecca, Brady, Morgan and Kylee, as well as his brother, Clarence “Bud” Hoek.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611, are appreciated. (Please include in memo:  Restricted for Research).
