Robert J. Arcidiacono

Robert J. Arcidiacono, 82, of East Moriches, LI, died Monday, March 6, 2017.  Born and raised in the Bronx, Robert served in the US Navy during the Korean War.  He worked for many years as a Transportation Manager.  Mr. Arcidiacono was an avid golfer and tennis player, and a longtime member of both the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of Italy.

Mr. Arcidiacono was predeceased by his wife Joanne in 2007.  He is survived by his daughter, Jean Marie Zeleski and her husband Tom of West Sayville, his son, Robert and his wife Philomena of Islip Terrace, his three grandchildren, Dylan, Paige and Robert, as well as his siblings, John of Bay Shore, Cathy of Central Islip, Patricia of New City, NY, Eileen of Queens and Susan of Florida. 

Friends and relatives will gather today, Thursday, March 9th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 10th at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
