Wehrenberg, John C. of Holbrook, on January 30, 2016. Cherished husband of Marilyn and the late Virginia. Loving father of Janet Daniels (John), Lynn Wehrenberg and step father of Cherí Tuthill. Loving grandfather of Michelle, Allan, Marilyn, Nicholas, and great grandfather of Elizabeth, Tara, and Meghan. Retired Deputy Police Commissioner and original member of the Suffolk County Legislature. Honorary Chief and 72 year member of Holbrook Fire Dept. Longest serving Commissioner of the Holbrook Fire District. Reposing Tuesday 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at the Holbrook Fire Department, 390 Terry Blvd., Holbrook, NY 11741. Church Service Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Holbrook. Interment to follow Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church or Holbrook Fire Department would be appreciated.
