To Ms Gloria Perkins Family, My heart broke when I heard of the passing of Ms Gloria. She was without a doubt my favorite teacher for 8 years and the 1 person who inspired me most in music. My lifetime love of music came from my many years as her student. She was a teacher who taught from the heart, she made you beleive that you were important and gave you the confidence every day to beleive in yourself. She had a big smile and a positive thought every time you saw her. I truly looked foward to my home lessons as I felt successful and accomplished because of her support and confidence in me. She was a brilliant teacher and I look back in gratitude because she changed me. While I mourn the loss of a great soul, I feel blessed and honored that she was a part of my life. I'm deeply saddened by the death of Ms Gloria Perkins. Our deepest condolences to the entire family... for the loss of this great soul.Over the years, Ms Gloria grew very close to my heart...she was more than a music teacher to my daughter...she became part of my family. She will be missed dearly. Words cannot express the pain of loosing such great soul. She was truly an inspiration to many. May her soul RIP. - Mr and Mrs Indi Balkissoon
