Your mom was my guidance counselor at Sachem (graduate of 1970) and my sister Fran and brother Donald. She was a wonderful person and counselor. We are happy to know that she lived a wonderful life and are sorry to hear of her passing. One more angel to watch over all of us. Our deepest sympathy.

To Ellen's Children:

Your Mom was a big part of my life. From the day I began my career as a teacher/counselor at Sachem High School, in Feb. 1967, your Mom was always a person I could talk to. She and Rose Butcher were two ladies I always admired and respected. They were the very best that Sachem had to offer.
Over the years, your Mom and I spent many, many hours together in the guidance office, going to meetings, having many, many private conversations in either her office or mine. She was a good friend, and we had many wonderful conversations.
About two years ago, my wife Diane and I visited your Mom in the rehab center and we were so happy that she appeared as she had always been, full of conversation, spunky, and always had something good to say about folks we both knew.
Your Mom also introduced my wife and me to your Dad, who was our attorney when we bought our home back in 1971. Your Dad was a terrific guy; he left us much too soon.
Please accept my deepest condolences at her passing; your Mom was one of a kind, and touched the lives of so many. She will be greatly missed.

So go and run free with the angels
Dance around the golden clouds
For the lord has chosen you to be with him
And we should feel nothing but proud
Although he has taken you from us
And our pain a lifetime will last
Your memory will never escape us
But make us glad for the time we did have
Your face will always be hidden
Deep inside our hearts
Each precious moment you gave us
Shall never, ever depart
So go and run free with the angels

Aunt Ellen you were greatly admired and loved... and you will be greatly missed
Love to you all - Jack, Gretchen and Ellen
