I just heard the other day that Claire my beautiful Godmother of 60 plus years has passed on and earned her most deserving wings to watch over us till we meet again. Although I shed tears as I did not get to see her before she left as my brother Bill was so lucky to, I will treasure our memories forever. Claire was like a second Mom to me and a best friend to my Mom. Every tear we exchanged Christmas cards and I kept saying when I visited our children in Ny that I would go to Our Lady of the Snow Church at 830 am to catch her coming up the stairs for mass but something always mostly time getting back home to Delaware. I have lost that chance forever wish we had heard of your passing I most certainly would have been there. So sorry David and Pat, and all your family for your loss and heavens gain. She will always be in our hearts. Truly loved you Claire till we meet again. Love Pam Taylor Atkins

We were so saddened to here of Claire’s passing. We just learned today from my brother Bill who happened to see the obituary. He saw her in the summer of 2017 when on LI. Apparently she passed shortly after.
Claire was part of my family since I was 3 yrs old and godmother to my younger sister.
We lost contact when we moved off of LI 10 yrs ago. I have a lot of memories and photos to remember her.
