Colleen your Dad was such a fun, and memorable person. I don't know how many times over the years as neighbors and friends I was in his and your Mom's company, but he was welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. He made an memorable good impression from the first time I met him. It was evident that he was dedicated to his family, a good Husband, father, grandfather and father in law. I feel lucky and appreciate the opportunity to meet him through our friendship. I am positive his life was a success from just knowing you and your family over the years. He will always live on through you. You will have to tell me one day what charism you inherited from him. I think your dad may already be saving up some candy for down the road to share , and helping our father in Heaven , all the while smiling down on you his loved ones.

I was so sorry to hear of this sad news. Mr. & Mrs. Schlener sat behind us at Mass for so many years. Every Sunday we would greet them . He was such a friendly kind man ! I enjoyed seeing him at church and out running errands. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to all of you . What a great guy!
