Visitation:   Friday, May 12th  2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville location, 245 Main St., West Sayville

Funeral Mass:   Saturday, May 13th  10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence R.C. Church, Sayville

Interment to follow:  at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Lakeland Avenue, Sayville.

Charlie went home to the Lord on May 4, 2017, at the age of 81. He was born on March 31, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to Charles and Rose Schlener. He was married to his wife Nancy for 56 years and had 3 children, Colleen (Ray), Noreen (John) and Brian (Marty).He adored his 5 grandchildren Alyssa, Nathaniel, Christopher, Matthew and Andrew. Charlie worked for Grumman for 31 years as a Systems Analyst and upon his retirement worked for the Sayville School District until his death.
Charlie loved to spend time with his family and friends. His smile and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. His spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
