William Durham Obituary

William Edward Durham, 78, of Blue Point, LI, died on June 4, 2020. Mr. Durham was a longtime resident of West Sayville before moving to Blue Point several years ago. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and worked for more than thirty years as a Suffolk County Police Officer in the 3rd Precinct.

Mr. Durham was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie in 2007. He is survived by his two children, Kimberly of Hampton Bays and Scott and his wife Kristin of East Northport, his two grandchildren, Amanda and Alexandra, as well as his sister, Dorothy Boucher.

Due to the current health crisis, arrangements were private. A more public celebration of Mr. Durham’s life will be held at a later date.
