Walter Hynes

Walter Hynes, age 72, lifelong resident of Sayville area died on June 5, 2025. He graduated Sayville High School in 1971.  Walter worked as a mechanic for Envipco for 30 plus years.

Walter is survived by his brother Joseph and his wife Linda, his sister in-law Adrianne, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Charles in 2023.

Family will receive visitors Sunday, June 8th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 683 Montauk Hwy. Bayport. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 9th 11:15 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church 240 W. Main St. Sayville. Followed by interment in the parish cemetery.
