Today we celebrate the wonderful life of Vita Scimeca. Loving mother, wife and called momma by everyone she knew.
Momma was an incredibly brave and strong woman. Sharing her journey to Italy during the great depression. The challenges she faced returning to the states. The loss of her first daughter and the great life with her husband Ciro. She leaves behind her two living children; John and Maryanne, with grandchildren; Lauren, Elizabeth, Caitlyn, Alisha and Christie and a great-grandchild; Liam.
Vita lived her life after her husband Ciro passed as a strong woman. Continuing to enjoy traveling and sharing all the family traditions, passing those to her kids and grandkids. She loved to make cookies and needed to make sure those traditions were passed down.
Momma loved to share stories with every detail, not missing a single detail. She was sharp and funny with a hint of sarcasm. She will be missed by all who had the chance to meet her and will be in our hearts every day. At 92 years of life one can only look back and remember her as being the best! What a wonderful life she had.
Love you always!
