Vincent Pangia, 59, of Central Islip, NY, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026. Born on May 5th, 1967, Vin was the son of John and Seana Pangia, both who passed on.
A lifelong resident of Long Island, Vin had many jobs, including a stint at Consolidated Aircraft as a technician, and as an installer of radio antennas. He was a huge fan of the Yankees and the New York Rangers, rarely missing a game on either the television or the radio. He loved to listen to heavy metal and hard rock music and the Howard Stern show.
Vinny will be remembered for his sense of humor and a big heart, willing to help any friends who were in need. He loved his family and remembered fondly his trips to the Finger Lakes area to visit Gramp’s farm, who was his mom’s father.
He is survived by his sister Theresa [Todd] Cooke, brother John [Kristen] Pangia, his aunt Maria Pangia, nephew Will Pangia and niece Beth Pangia, and cousins Tom [Ingrid] and Kathleen Monaghan. In addition, he is survived by many friends, especially Lenny Desiderio and Debi Mueller.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 2-4 pm at Raynor and D’Andrea Funeral Home, 245 Montauk Highway, West Sayville, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Vin’s memory.
Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, June 28th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home at 245 Montauk Highway, West Sayville, NY 11796.
