Thomas & Carmela Kinney

Thomas (Tom), 87, and Carmela (Millie), 87, formerly of Wantagh, NY and most recently residents of West Sayville, NY and Hudson, FL. The two were inseparable and left us 18 hours apart with Tom on February 17th and Millie on February 18th. Beloved parents to Thomas, Donna and husband Jay, Joseph and wife Hope, and Karen and husband Scott. Proud grandparents and great grandparents of many. Thomas was born August 12, 1933 to Thomas and Helen Kinney in the coal mining town of Sheppton, PA. Carmela was born December 13, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Mary Macaluso. It was in Brooklyn that Tom and Millie met through friends. They were together for approximately 70 years and married for over 67. Tom worked for Pan Am Airlines at JFK in the Jet Engine Overhaul Building and quickly rose to management level. Millie raised their 4 children and worked at North Atlantic Industries in Hauppauge for many years. Through working for Pan Am Tom and Millie enjoyed traveling first class around the world and exploring new places. The two also loved snow birding back and forth to their home in Florida. They had amazing lifelong friends no matter where they lived. They lived a fairy tale marriage until the end.
