Thomas Gerald Cox

Thomas Gerald Cox, age 86, resident of Blue Point, New York, died on March 18, 2026.

Thomas is survived by his children Michael, Brian, Karyn, and Susan; his grandchildren Jacklyn, Michael, Toni Ann, Thomas, Christopher, Connor, Frankie, Libby, Jacob, Alexis, Mikaela, Cassandra, and Tessa; and his great-grandchildren Savannah, Vincent, and Colter.

He is predeceased by his wife, Libby and his son, Thomas Richard.

Tom, retired FDNY, loved going to Jake’s 58 Casino and spending time with his family.  He was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a surrogate father to many and will be deeply missed.

Family will receive visitors on Saturday, March 21st from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Highway West Sayville. A chapel service will take place at 5:30 p.m. A private interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
