Thomas Arpino Obituary

Thomas Arpino, a lifelong member of the Bayport-Blue Point community, passed away on October 28, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Blue Point, Thomas graduated from Bayport-Blue Point High School and remained deeply connected to his hometown. He spent many dedicated years working as a Car Inspector with the Long Island Rail Road, where he was respected for his commitment and integrity.

A beloved and active member of the Bayport Fire Department, Thomas was known for his unwavering dedication to service. Outside of his work and volunteer commitments, he found joy on the water, often seen cruising the bay on his boat, “Moontide,” where he created countless memories with his family.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Rosetta; his children, Emily and Thomas; his brother, Michael, and sister-in-law, Donna; his parents, Tony and Anne; his mother- and father-in-law, Diane and Robert Caiati; his sister- and brother-in-law, Michelle and Robert Kennedy; his sister- and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bobby McKee; his eight nieces and nephews, Bryan, Kevin, Danielle, Joseph, Zachary, Victoria, Shelby, and Jackson; and his dog, Chanel.

His presence, humor, and warmth will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
