Teresa Elizabeth Ciresi (63) of Mastic Beach passed peacefully on January 4, 2025, following a long illness. She was born February 21, 1961, in Brooklyn, NY, and was the third child born to Eileen (dec. 2019) and George Ciresi. Teresa moved with her family to Sayville in 1970 and attended St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic School and then Sayville Jr. High School and Sayville High School. After graduating in 1980 Teresa had a long career in the food industry. Teresa loved the beach, boating, and animals and cherished the many pets she had over her lifetime.
Teresa is survived by her father George Sr, her brother George Jr (Cathie) and her sister Ginamarie Santoro (Al). She is predeceased by her brother Patrick (Janet). She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Chryse Sacco (Frank) and nephews George Ciresi III (Julie) and Albert Santoro, great nieces Alyssa and Gianna Sacco and Lea and Cara Ciresi, great nephew Jake Ciresi, maternal aunts Dolores Seblano and Eleanor June, and many cousins and friends. She will especially be missed by her loving and devoted partner Joseph Madonia.
Visitation: Tuesday January 7, 2025 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at our West Sayville Funeral Home, 245 Main St.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville
Interment: St. Lawrence Cemetery
