Chapel Service- Saturday April 9, 2022 at 12 noon at our Bayport Funeral Home, 683 Montauk Hwy.

Interment- St. Ann's Cemetery, Sayville

Tania J. Brinkmann, 97, of West Sayville, LI and Treasure Island, Florida, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.  Born and raised in the Netherlands, Tania came to the US in 1955.  She was a District Manager with Zales Jewelers form many years and also worked alongside her husband Ben, operating Brinkmann Electric Corp. and later, Brinkmann Hardware in Sayville.

Mrs. Brinkmann was predeceased by her husband, Ben as well as by her daughter, Irene Alives.  She is survived by her two sons, Antoon and his wife Patricia of Bayport and Valentinus and his wife Linda of West Sayville, her six grandchildren, Mary, Ben, Hank, Kimberly, Bryan and Derek, and her great-grandchildren, Molly, Finnegan, Grace, Nathan, Kyra, Arisa, Bailee, Fiona, Pearl, Maeve, Samantha Jo, Corey, Courtney and Casey and her great-great grandchildren, Elliott, Henley, Sawyer, Chandler, Elise, Tyrion and Irena.

Friends and relatives will gather on Friday, April 8th, 2-4:30 & 7-9 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in Bayport where a religious service will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9th at 12 noon and interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Sayville.
