Suzanne J. Quinn

Suzanne J. Quinn, 77, of West Sayville, Long Island passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. A long-time resident of West Sayville, Suzanne cherished spending time with those she held close to her. She was a proud mother, wife, and grandmother who had a knack for telling vivid stories about her life’s adventures.

She had a strong partnership with her husband, Dave, whose love for life complimented her adventurous spirit. The two of them enjoyed riding their motorcycle around town, going to the movies, and enjoying delicious meals together.

Suzanne had a heart for serving and giving back to others, and dedicated her career to taking care of young children and adults with mental disabilities. She always made a concerted effort to build strong relationships with her patients, ensuring they had the support needed to lead healthy and happy lives.

Suzanne was deeply creative and expressed her interests through different forms of art. She enjoyed making ceramics, as well as knitting and crocheting blankets and other items for family, friends, and those in need. She could often be found thrifting or exploring craft markets to find unique treasures to gift to loved ones, or spending time outdoors gardening and enjoying nature.      

Suzanne is survived by her loving husband, David, her daughter Suzanne Lynch and her son Michael Lynch, her grandchildren Madison and Macguire Lynch, as well as her sister Pamela Higgins, and two brothers James and Douglas Higgins. She was predeceased by her son Brendan Lynch, her sister Elizabeth Higgins and her brother Steven Higgins.
