Sandra I. Sweeney

Sandra I. Sweeney, 71, of Irmo, South Carolina, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.  A longtime resident of Copiague, Sandy moved to South Carolina nearly fifteen years ago.  Sandra is survived by her son, Joseph Ventrice, her granddaughter, Brieana, as well as her siblings, Diane Mirasola, Yvonne Perez (Pat), Arlene Ligos (Kevin), Ann Marie Falcon (the late Pete), Daniel Perez (Maureen) and David Perez (Lisa).  She was also predeceased by her husband, Russell just three weeks ago, by her parents, Jupiter and Otila Perez and by her brother, Jupiter, Jr.

Friends and relatives will gather for a celebration of Sandy’s life on Saturday, January 28th, 3-6 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held at 5 p.m.
