Sally Jean Pellegrini

Sally Pellegrini, a beloved member of the Sayville community, passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 59, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body disease. Sally was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and the Sayville community.

Sally dedicated 19 years as nurse’s aide at Sayville High School. She served as Special Ed aide for after school activities and Special Olympics. Sally contributed to the community as member of the Sayville PTA, Sayville football club, Sayville wrestling club, and Girl Scout Troop leader.

She is survived by her four children, Joe (Kristyn), Richard (Renata), Kerriann Hernandez (Steven) and Sarah Van Brunt (Jared). Additionally, her two granddaughters, Magnolia Hernandez and Poppy Van Brunt.

She is also survived by her father, John Cerro and her three siblings, John (Ronniann), Margie and Ellen (Tim).

Family will receive visitors Friday, December 13th  4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home 683 Montauk Hwy Bayport.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 14th  11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Rc Church 240 W. Main St. Sayville.  Cremation private
