Rosemary A. Cunningham

Rosemary A. Cunningham, age 88, resident of Sayville, LI., died on June 3, 2023. Rosemary was an avid  cheerleader for her fourteen grandchildren. She was an active volunteer at St. Frances de Chantal in Wantagh. She loved the outdoors; besides golf and tennis she was a regular walker at the Jones Beach Boardwalk. Faith and family were her priorities.

Rosemary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rosemary is survived by her husband of 68 years James, her children, Cathleen McKillop and her husband Robert, James and his wife Catherine, Gerard and his wife Lori, Mary Fay and her husband Thomas, Daniel and his wife Debora, her grandchildren, Kerrin, Matthew, Brendan, James, Sean, Conor, Brian, Shannon, Gerard, Ryan, Kyle, Daniel, Kevin, Patrick and seven great grandchildren (soon to be nine).

Visitation will be held Monday, June 5th  4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy. West Sayville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 6th  11:15 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church 1140 Locust Ave. Bohemia. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
