Robert L. Suydam

Robert L. Suydam; age 85, long time resident of Blue Point, LI., died on May 27, 2021. Robert enjoyed playing golf and for the past 10 years watching golf on television. He loved camping, traveling, attending German festivals and horse racing.  Robert was very attached to his faithful dog Derby.

Robert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara. His children; Susan Kennedy and her husband Mark of Greenlawn, NY,  Robert and his wife Susan of Sayville, NY and Karen Suydam and her spouse Paula Preston of Delmar, NY. His grandchildren, Sean, Timothy, Rory, Eric and Kristin. And his sister Ann Nunes and her husband Manny.

Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 1st from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Hwy. West Sayville. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will take place on Wednesday, June 2nd at 11:15 a.m. at Northport Rural Cemetery 23 Sandy Hollow Rd. Northport.
