Robert W. Martens

Born on May 4th, 1946 Robert W Martens passed away on September 2nd, 2021. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret, and their two children; Clinton and Samantha. Grandfather to Connor, Jason, Danielle, and Nora. Bob was a proud USMC Corporal Sharp Shooter having served in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star for his heroic service. An avid golfer for his entire life, the courses in New York and South Carolina will never be the same without his laughter, instruction, and proper etiquette. Those that knew Bob understood him to be a true friend that would do anything for anyone who asked. His tough stature and demeanor were nothing but a shell over a warm hearted, dear husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be truly missed by all he knew. 

Visitation- Thursday September 9, 2021 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our Bayport Funeral Home, 683 Montauk Hwy.

Chapel Service- Friday September 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at our Bayport Funeral Home, 683 Montauk Hwy.

Interment- Calverton National Cemetery
