Robert F. Honadel, 80, a resident of Holtsville, LI since 1979, died on October 20, 2024. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Bob served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He worked for twenty-five years in the telephone industry before retiring from Verizon in 1995.
Bob is survived by his wife, Paula, his three children, Robert C. and his wife Janis of Pennsylvania, Jennifer Honadel of West Sayville and Kristen Kaplan and her husband Michael of Holtsville, as well as his five grandchildren, Ryan, Katelyn, Riley, Morgan and Hannah.
Friends and relatives will gather 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a service will be held at 12:30 p.m. and interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
