Richard H. Schwarting

Richard H. Schwarting, age 75, resident of Setauket, LI., formerly of Sayville, LI., died August 1, 2025. Richard served in the Navy for several years before becoming a dedicated excavating contractor. He was a passionate volunteer with Splashes of Hope.

Richard is survived by his daughter Katherine, and his sister Jo Ann Peterson. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Elizabeth Schwarting.

Arrangements entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Homes. A graveside service will take place Tuesday, August 19th 12:30 pm at Washington Memorial Park 855 Canal Rd. Coram, NY.
