Richard Polselli, 89, a resident of Sayville for nearly sixty years, died on December 20, 2024. Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Richard served in the US Air Force. Mr. Polselli worked in food service and owned and operated both, Dick’s Vending Service and Dick’s Terrace Lounge for many years.
Mr. Polselli is survived by his wife, Sandra of 63 years, his four children, Dena Koehler and her husband David of Sayville, Andrea Meserve of Sayville, Peter and his wife Jennifer of Patchogue and Paul and his wife Kate of California, his eleven grandchildren, Daniel and his wife Lindsay, Elizabeth, Erin, Brendan, Jack, Anna, Logan, Luke, Ryder, Reagan and Camden, a great-grandson, Grayson, as well as his brother, Robert and his wife Barbara and his sister-in-law, Carol, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Al and his two sisters, Dorothy Vegnone and Anna McCarthy.
Friends and relatives will gather at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 26th at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.
