Funeral Service:  Saturday, January 25th, 11:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Episcopal, Sayville.

Private cremation to follow.

Richard H. Duffy, Sr., 76, of Holbrook, LI, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.  Raised in Bayport, Richard attended Bayport High School.  He worked for many years as an elevator mechanic, superintendent of a residential housing complex and more recently as an Uber Driver.  Mr. Duffy was also a former volunteer fireman with the Bayport Fire Department.

Mr. Duffy is survived by three children of his former wife, Janet DuBois, Richard and his wife Joanne of North Babylon, Michael and his wife Maureen of Blue Point, Katy Davern and her husband Scott of Blue Point. He was predeceased by his second wife, Sue Duffy in 2017 and is survived by their daughter, Casey Duggan and her husband Brian of Bohemia, as well as by Sue’s three children, Angie Papandrew and her husband Rob of North Carolina, John Leigh-Manuell and his wife Christine of Blue Point and Brian Hammond and his wife Danielle of Bellmore.  He is also survived his fifteen grandchildren and his brother, Donald Duffy and his wife Carol.  

In lieu of flowers, contributions made in memory of Mr. Duffy to the charity of your choice, are appreciated by his family.
