Richard M. Boyce

Richard M. Boyce, a resident of Bayport for over 66 years, passed away on May 25, 2021. A proud US Navy Veteran, Richard was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 138 for over 60 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed spending time in the woods, gardening, and hand crafting duck decoys. He was a devout Catholic whose faith was important to him as was his constant love for his wife and family.

 He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia, his children Patricia Boyce, Cathleen Alexander and her husband Thom, Richard and his wife Dewi, John and his wife Kathy, and Elizabeth LaMarca and her husband Alex, his grandchildren Christopher, Patricia, Amanda, Stephen, Kelsey, Colleen, Kathryn, Caroline and Sayer, his great grandson Wyatt, and his brother Paul Boyce. Richard is predeceased by his sister Winifred.

Visitation- Monday May 31, 2021 from 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at our West Sayville Funeral Home, 245 Main St.

Funeral Mass- Tuesday June 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church, Blue Point.

Interment- St. Lawrence Cemetery, Sayville
