Pier Carlo Conte

Pier Carlo Conte, 88, of Sayville, NY, died on Monday, June 30, 2025.  Born and raised in Terracina Italy, Pier Carlo came to the US in 1958 to work with his uncle in Greenwich, Connecticut. He met his future bride and they were married the following year and soon after started their family. Eventually they moved out to Baldwin, Long Island, where they raised their daughter, Linda and their son Carlo.  Mr. Conte worked for more than thirty years with Alitalia Airlines.

Pier Carlo was a hardworking, dedicated husband, father & grandfather that was gracious, charming and always impeccably dressed.

Besides his family and gardening his other passion was soccer, he loved playing it and watching it broadcast live from Italy.

Mr. Conte was predeceased by his wife Ann in 1991.  He is survived by his daughter, Linda and her partner, Joseph of Massapequa Park, his son Carlo, his daughter in law Sheila of Sayville, his two granddaughters, Daniela and Sabrina, as well as four sisters, Mariemma, Donatella, Annamaria and Germana. 

After battling heart disease, which lead to other complications he passed on Monday June 30,2025 surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed by everyone.

Friends and relatives will gather on Sunday, July 6th, 3-7 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 7th at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
