Pia Mizzi

Pia S. Mizzi, 61, a lifelong resident of Sayville, LI, died on Thursday, May 28, 2020.  Pia graduated from Sayville High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree at Dowling College and her Master’s Degree at Long Island University.  Pia worked for many years as a Probation Officer with the Suffolk County Department of Probation before retiring recently as a Supervisor.

Pia is survived by her husband, William Neilon, her children, Marie Neilon, Antonia Neilon-Sautter and her husband John and Bryan Neilon and his wife Nikki, all of Blue Point, her five grandchildren, Julie, Jack, Aurelia, Katherine and Penny, as well as her three siblings, Patricia, Pamela and Philip Mizzi.  She was predeceased by her son Peter in 1993.

Due to the current health crisis, services were private.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Homes.
