Phyllis J. Schramm

Phyllis J. Schramm, age 93, resident of Greenport died on April 17, 2025.

Phyllis grew up in Richmond Hill, New York and attended Richmond Hill High School where she met her future husband, Edmund. The two married in the early 1950’s. The Schramms then moved to Hempstead to start a family and later resided in Seaford. Phyllis and her husband retired to Easton, Maryland for several years before moving back to Long Island in 2012.

Phyllis will be remembered as a talented artist and cook. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing tennis and golf.

Phyllis is survived by her children Dianne Coons, Ellen Erath and her husband Paul, Jayne Shea and her husband Rich, his grandchildren Benjamin, Matthew, Bryan, Brendan, Keryn, Alison, Lauren, and Douglas, and his nine great grandchildren.
