Peter Hagan Obituary

Peter Hagan, 82, of Sayville, New York, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.  Raised in Little Neck, Queens, Pete moved out to Sayville in 1968.  He worked for nearly thirty years with the NYPD before retiring as a Detective 2nd Grade in the Organized Crime Control Bureau.  Mr. Hagan was all about his family and worked two and three side jobs to support them over the years.  He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his three children and his grandchildren.

Mr. Hagan was predeceased by his wife Rachelle in 2008.  He is survived by his three children, Timothy and his wife Maggie of Oceanside, Robert and his wife Stacy of Rocky Point and Laura Berube and her husband Max of Skaneateles, his seven grandchildren, Olivia, Brian, Michael, Kylie, Camryn, Rachelle and Jasmine, as well as his two sisters, Patricia Black and Mary Tetrick, and two brothers, Tom and his wife Josephine and Joseph.

Friends and relatives will gather on Sunday, April 6th, 3-7 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held at 6 p.m.  Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7th.
