Paul Prygocki passed away peacefully at Good Shepard Hospice on Thursday June 23, 2022. He was born November 15, 1948 in Bay Shore, New York. Paul graduated from Bay Shore High School in 1966.
At age 18 he was drafted & served in Vietnam. He was proud to be an American and served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer.
Paul worked for the Long Island Railroad as a signalman for 30 years, where he put his extensive electrical knowledge to use. Paul had many assistants over the years that he mentored. That was one of the greatest joys of his career.
Paul had a life filled with love and happiness. His family was everything to him. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed traveling, golfing and spending time watching his grandsons play sports. He loved the New York Yankees and idolized Mickey Mantle. Paul was a New York Jets fanatic.
He is survived by his wife Susan, former wife Grace, his daughter Laura with husband David, as well as his grandchildren: Jack and James. He is also survived by his brother Peter and wife Vivian. Paul has many cousins, nephews and nieces who he adored. We will all miss him dearly. We are brokenhearted without him and will miss his words of wisdom.
