Norma Dasaro, 70, of Oakdale, New York, passed away on February 4, 2026. She was born on November 16, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY, and was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Ferraro.
Norma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Dasaro, three children, Stacy, Michael and James, her son in law Nick, he daughter in law Marlayna and her precious toy yorkie “Maxie.” She was also a loving “MeeMaw” to her beloved granddaughter “LexiLoo” who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her sister Ann Marie and brother Edward.
Norma was a devout Catholic who spent many years volunteering her time at the local parish, ensuring that every parishioner she encountered would leave their conversation with a laugh or smile.
Above all, Norma will be remembered for her big heart, high energy, persistence, strength, and desire to take care of everyone around her and make them feel good. She leaves behind a family who will miss her dearly and will always hold her memory as a blessing.
Norma’s legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
Family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 7 from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Highway West Sayville. A funeral mass will follow at St. John Nupomecene Church at 1140 Locust Avenue, Bohemia.
