It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Anne Cluen Scheyder on February 8, 2025, at the age of 62. Nancy was born on January 22, 1963, in Bay Shore, New York, and grew up in Brentwood. She spent the last years of her life in Holbrook, New York, where she passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Nancy is survived by her three beloved children, Jason, Amanda, and Rebecca, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Amy and Benjamin. She is also survived by her sisters, Eileen and Diane, and her brother Gregory. She was predeceased by her parents, Marion and Eugene and brothers Kenneth and Michael.

Nancy’s favorite place was Chincoteague Island, Virginia, where she found peace and joy. Above all, Nancy was a family-centered woman, known for her unwavering love and devotion to those closest to her. Her strength, generosity, and warmth left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Nancy’s sharp sense of humor and sarcasm made her a light in every room, and her smile had the power to brighten the darkest of days. Her sparkling eyes and infectious laughter will be deeply missed.

A religious service will be held Monday to celebrate Nancy’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a tree be planted in her memory.

She will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
