Nada Ragot

Nada Ragot, a resident of Blue Point since 1973, passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 80. For many years, Nada and her husband would split their time between Blue Point and Hudson, Florida. Known to her neighbors as the “mayor,” Nada was a people person, talking to everyone with her loving and generous demeanor. She loved to sew and knit, and would spend hours in her garden, allowing her artistic talent to shine through in the flowers. Above everything else, Nada loved and cherished her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Robert, her children Maurice, and his wife Gina, Eric, and his wife Elizabeth, and Danielle Steiding, and her husband John, her grandchildren, Luka, Thomas, Carmela, Julian, and Violette, her sister Veronika Simon, and her brothers Joseph Lukan and Ivan Lukan.

Donations in Nada’s memory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244 would be appreciated.

Visitation- Sunday May 1, 2022 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at our Bayport Funeral Home, 683 Montauk Hwy., a memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Ragot will be held at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass- Monday May 2, 2022 at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church, Blue Point

Interment- Emmanuel Episcopal Cemetery, Great River
