Muriel Meyer

Muriel Meyer, age 86 of Patchogue, New York passed away on April 7th , 2022. Muriel was one of six children born to Mabel and Frank Meyer of Bayport, where she spent most of her life. She worked at Brookhaven Hospital in the Maternity Ward for 44 years. She is survived by her sisters, Bobbe DeSanto (the late Robert), Mary-Lou Rooney (Don) and brother Joseph meyer (Joanne). She was predeceased by brothers Frank (Doris) and Thomas Meyer. Muriel had 30 loving Nieces and Nephews, and many Great Nieces and Nephews. She loved children and was so happy to baby sit. She was very active for years at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church where she was awarded the St. Agnes Medal of Service. Friends and family will gather on Sunday April 10th from  2-4 and 7-9 pm in our Bayport location (683 Montauk Highway, Bayport, NY 11705). A funeral mass will be held on Monday April 11th, 9:45 am at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church in Blue Point. Private cremation to follow.
