Mildred Mayernik

Mildred Mayernik, age 99, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center, West Islip, NY.

She was born in Coaldale, PA., on January 31, 1924, daughter of the late Isidore and Carolina (Kovach) Mayernik.

Originally from Brooklyn, for the past nine years she resided at Dominican Village Assisted Living Facility, Amityville, NY.

Mildred was the happiest spending time with her family. She also loved her time traveling, especially cruising with her family and friends.

She was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mildred was predeceased by her siblings: Mary, Stephen, Helen, Catherine, Ernest, Annie, Joseph, John, Margaret and Michael.

A graveside service will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY, Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:15 am.

               (Friends and family will gather at the cemetery office at 11:00 am)

Her family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff of Dominican Village for all the support and love shown to her in her time of need.
