The sudden passing of Michael “Mike” O’Rourke on September 10th has left our family with a great sadness. The memories and life of Mike provides us with the warmth and strength to carry on. Mikes laughter and comedy makes it hard to not smile when we think of him. He was a loving father who doted upon his children Jake and Makenzy with a love that had no bounds. He was a sweet and caring husband to Kristen who he adored and cherished. Mikes deep sense of family was nurtured from the love bestowed by his mother Georgia, father Dan and sister Kerri whom he admired and adored. Mike shared a special bond with his parents-in-law Donald and Kathleen and his siblings by law Jay, Nicole, Brendon, Taryn, Andrew and Jordan. Mike treated his nieces Emily, Cambria, Giovanna and nephews Andrew and Sawyer with a deep and cherished love and admiration. We will all remember Mikes devotion to his New York Yankees and passion for the Giants among the many sports teams he followed constantly. We ask all that knew Mike to keep his memory in your hearts and his spirit in your prayers.
