Michael C. Krauss

Michael C. Krauss, 59, of West Sayville, NY, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.  A lifelong resident of the Sayville area, Michael graduated from Sayville High School.  He was a master carpenter and owned and operated his own contracting company for nearly forty years.  Michael was also an avid fisherman who loved to be on the water.

Mr. Krauss is survived by his wife Constance, his three children, Cassandra of Manhattan, Michael of California and Kyle of Islip, his mother, Patricia of Sayville, as well as three siblings, Laurie (Stacy) Valdakis of Holbrook, Danny (Leah) Krauss of Center Moriches and Kelly Della Quila of Locust Valley.

Friends and relatives will gather 4-8 p.m. on Friday, August 5th at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6th at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville.
