Michael Joseph Brooks

Michael Brooks passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born in New York, Michael was raised in Bay Shore, where he developed a love for music, dance, and working with his hands.

Throughout his life, Michael lived in Ohio and Michigan before eventually returning to New York, where he felt most at home. A talented handyman, he took pride in fixing things and helping others. Whether he was singing, dancing, or working on cars, Michael brought joy and laughter to those around him. Michael will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His passion for life and generous spirit will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his siblings, Donald and his wife Peggy, Diane Caldwell, Irish Brooks, Allen J. Brooks and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, Glenn Brooks, Judy, Jesse Redmond, Harry and Joanne Brooks.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15 at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Montauk Highway West Sayville from 12 - 2 p.m.
