Mary "Josephine" Topping

Mary “Josephine” Topping, 77, of Oakdale, NY, died on Monday, April 19, 2021.  Born and raised in Ireland, Josephine came to the US at the age of 22.  She worked for many years as a home health care aide, helping countless local residents.

Mrs. Topping is survived by her husband, Sam, her four children, Gary and his wife Victoria of Oakdale, Stephen of Oakdale, Chris of Islip and Leeann and her fiance Shane of Oakdale, her two grandchildren, Robert and Benjamin, as well as her siblings, Michael, Sean, Sheila, Bernadette and Maureen.

Friends and relatives will gather on Wednesday, April 21st, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held at 3:30 p.m.  A private cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, are apprecitated.
