Mary Jane was a loving mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend to all. Born in Queens, she spent almost the entirety of her life in Sayville, NY, and nearly 50 years at her home on Spruce Avenue. She passed unexpectedly on September 19. A graduate of Seton Hall High School where she played softball, she served Ice Cream at Carvel, was a bank teller at Oysterman's and later at North Fork banks, and finally spent many years managing the offices of Dr. Trinidad in Sayville and in Northport, where she was truly beloved by all her patients. She was also President of Bosti Elementary PTA in the late 80’s and a life-long member of St. Lawrence church. Perhaps the greatest role she played was as an incredible mother and wife.
She loved camping, playing cards, visiting with her grandchildren, making birthday cakes and chatting on the phone. No matter where Mary Jane went, she made friends. Her smile was infectious, and her laughter heart warming. She spent her life supporting anyone who needed it, lighting up the lives of those around her. She genuinely cared when you called on her for help, she always placed the needs of others before herself, and remembered the littlest details about every person she met.
She is survived by her husband Michael, sons Jason, Robert and Patrick, Brother John, and grandchildren Sean, Christian, Nora, Quentin and Delphinea.
To know her was to love her. She will be terribly missed.
