Marion Ahern Cohn

Marion Ahern Cohn, 76, of Bayport, NY died peacefully on November 12, 2024. She was a devoted wife and best friend to Stephen and married for forty eight years. A loving mother to Stephen Jr. and Scott.

Marion and Stephen first met as next-door neighbors in Garden City and married in 1976. She grew up in Garden City and lived in Bayport for the last 32 years.

Marion is predeceased by her son Scotty, brother John Ahern and parents William and Rita Ahern. She is survived by her brother Bill Ahern, sister Beth Sahagien and brother-in-law Frank Sahagien.

Marion served as President of the Bayport Heritage Association and retired from the Suffolk County Legislature after twenty years of service. She loved life, people and family and will be missed.

Visitation- Saturday November 16, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at our Bayport Funeral Home, 683 Montauk Hwy.
