Marie Wieden Obituary

Marie Caroline Wieden (nee Schipits), 91 from 10/3/1928 to 5/20/2020. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Loving mother to Nancy. Marie was born in Brooklyn. She was raised in Ridgewood, Queens and graduated Grover Cleveland High School, which made her parents, who immigrated to this country from Austria, extremely proud. After graduating high school she worked for 3 years as a secretary in Manhattan, enjoying her job and all that the city had to offer. In 1948, she married Anthony and in 1955 they had their only daughter, Nancy. In 1966 the family- Tony, Marie, Nancy and Marie's parents Mary and Josef bought a home in North Bellmore, L.I. New York. Marie enjoyed being a wife and mother. She also treasured her niece and nephews, and their families. Pre-deceased by her husband Anthony in 2001, Marie will be interred with him at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
