Mariann Senior

Mariann Senior, 76, a resident of Oakdale, LI for more than fifty years, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.  Born and raised in Queens, Mariann earned both her Bachelor’s and her Master’s Degrees at St. John’s University.  She worked for many years as a Kindergarten teacher in several districts beforing retiring from Connetquot Public Schools.

Mrs. Senior is survived by her husband, Robert, her two children, Tara DeRosa and her husband Jeremy of Lloyd Harbor and Joseph Senior and his wife Elizabeth of Denver, Colorado, her four grandchildren, Siena, Gianna, Theodore and Hannah, as well as her brother, Glenn Raciti of Pennsylvania and her sister, Melissa Raciti-Knapp and her husband Jon of Plandome.

Friends and relatives will gather on Friday, October 27th, 4-8 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 28th at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Bohemia and entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
