Margaret Sundin

Margaret Sundin, 81, a resident of East Islip, NY for nearly forty years, died on November 12, 2025.  Margaret was a longtime member and volunteer at St. Mary’s RC Church in East Islip and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Mrs. Sundin was predeceased by her husband Robert Sundin and by her son Paul Marano.  She is survived by her son, Michael Marano, by Robert’s children, Doreen Sundin and Bob Sundin, as well as by her five grandchildren, Honesty, Jennifer, Michael, Brittany and Jordan, and three great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Ember and Benjamin.

Friends and relatives will gather on Thursday, November 20th at 9:15 a.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville before a Funeral Mass at 10:45 a.m. at St. Mary’s RC Church in East Islip.  Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
