Margaret “Peggy” Crowley, 91, of Oak Beach, New York, died on October 4, 2025. Raised in Manhattan, Peggy graduated from Holy Name Catholic High School. She has been a resident of Oak Beach since 1983 and was in Babylon Village prior. Mrs. Crowley owned and operated Charlie’s Fishing Station along with her late husband Charlie and, more recently owned and operated Sea Gull Marina and Oakdale Yacht Club, along with her son Tom.
Mrs. Crowley was predeceased by two husbands, Thomas Charles Crowley in 1976 and by Dennis Cahill in 2015, as well as by her daughter-in-law, Tricia Crowley in 2025. She is survived by her three children, Mary Sullivan and her husband Dennis of Bohemia, Thomas of Oakdale and Sean and his wife Charlotte of Oak Beach, and by her seven grandchildren, James, Brendan, Kelly, Courtney, Charlie, Shannon and Ronan.
Friends and relatives will gather on Thursday, October 9th, 2-6 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville where a religious service will be held. A private cremation will follow.
