Louis Vincent Bartik, Jr.

Louis Vincent Bartik, Jr., age 78, resident of Patchogue, formerly of Bohemia, LI., died on August 23, 2023.

Louis is survived by his children, Christian & Margaret Bartik of Sayville, Jason Bartik and Rose Rettig of Patchogue, Joey & Kevin Bahr of New Bern, North Carolina, formerly of Center Moriches, Amanda Bartik of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Patchogue, his grandchildren Christian, Victoria, Olivia, Emma, Jessica, Kyle, Kevin, Wyatt, Ryan and his great grandchildren Holly and Otto.

Louis loved and cared for the people in his life fiercely. He had two marriages with women who remained lifelong friends, he accepted a blended family whole heartedly, and has countless true friends from all walks of his life. Lou worked for LILCO/PSEG for 55 years and retired in January of 2023. He was a true outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing and anything related to nature. Louis loved spending time with his family, he was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather. He always looked forward to his daily drives down to local fishing docks to talk with all of the friends he had made over the years. Louis will be dearly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, September 23rd from 1:00 – 3:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home West Sayville. A chapel service will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
